After a stroke incident at Euro 2020, midfielder Christian Eriksen was named in the Danish squad for Euro 2024.

The Danish team officially announced 26 players participating in Euro 2024 .

Among them are prominent stars Rasmus Hojlund (Man United), Andreas Christensen (Barcelona), Kasper Schmeichel (RSC Anderlecht). In particular, they welcome the return of conductor Christian Eriksen .

The Man United midfielder encountered a terrible incident right in Denmark’s opening match at Euro 2020 . Eriksen had a stroke and collapsed on the field without any contact on the field.

After that, he was taken to the hospital for surgery to implant a defibrillator. The incident caused Eriksen to take a long break from competition and have his contract canceled by Inter Milan Club because Serie A regulations prohibit players from wearing pacemakers in competition.
