The Danish team officially announced 26 players participating in Euro 2024 .

Among them are prominent stars Rasmus Hojlund (Man United), Andreas Christensen (Barcelona), Kasper Schmeichel (RSC Anderlecht). In particular, they welcome the return of conductor Christian Eriksen .

The Man United midfielder encountered a terrible incident right in Denmark’s opening match at Euro 2020 . Eriksen had a stroke and collapsed on the field without any contact on the field.

After that, he was taken to the hospital for surgery to implant a defibrillator. The incident caused Eriksen to take a long break from competition and have his contract canceled by Inter Milan Club because Serie A regulations prohibit players from wearing pacemakers in competition.

The Danish midfielder returns to professional football in the second half of the 2021 – 2022 season with Brentford. Here, he showed good form, scoring 1 goal and providing 4 assists in 11 Premier League matches.

Then, in the 2022 summer transfer window, Eriksen was recruited by Man United with a 3-year contract. During his time playing at Old Trafford, he was a pillar of the “Red Devils”.

The 32-year-old midfielder more or less regained his peak form to win a spot for Denmark in Euro 2024.

In addition to Eriksen, fans of the “lead soldiers” also have great expectations for Man United striker Rasmus Hojlund .

The young striker had an impressive debut season in the Premier League and is expected to shine in this year’s Euro.

At Euro 2024 taking place next June, Denmark will be in Group C with Slovenia, Serbia and England.
