Jude Bellingham happily revealed his mother’s longtime affection for Jose Mourinho when he asked the former Manchester United manager to take a photo with her.

The 20-year-old capped off an impressive debut season in the Spanish capital as his side won 2-0 against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final.

Goals from Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Jr brought the European Cup to Los Blancos, following success in the domestic league this season.

During the celebration, Bellingham placed his winning medal on his mother Denise before going straight to Mourinho, who was on commentary duty for TNT Sports.

The England player then asked the Portuguese coach to take a photo with his mother before revealing that she had liked him for a while.

Bellingham joked to Mourinho: “Sorry about that, my mother has loved you for many years!”

Mourinho was also impressed by the Bellingham family: “Special players, special family. Seeing that family, the way they were there, they weren’t looking for cameras, they weren’t looking for VIP seats, they were just there to Supporting your child in the most humble way is really beautiful to me.”
