His potential remains sky-high and the organization believes in him, yet the coaches have to do what’s best week by week.

If Suamataia can’t protect his blindside, it puts the three-time Super Bowl MVP at risk.

In all likelihood, Suamataia will start and this is just an opportunity for him to improve going into Week 3.

Morris has experience in the scheme and started four games down the stretch in 2023.

He’s meant to be the primary backup and swing tackle, though it sounds like the Chiefs may need him sooner than expected this year.
