Gareth Southgate has officially confirmed his 26 man squad for the Euros – and Jack Grealish is the big omission.
Manchester City £100m star Grealish is one of SEVEN players cut from the original training squad for the tournament in Germany.
That is a huge blow for Grealish whose lack of game time at City – he was a non-playing substitute in the FA Cup final – has cost him.
Harry Maguire has admitted he is “devastated” after also being left out having suffered a setback last month in his recovery from a calf injury.
The other five are: James Maddison, Curtis Jones, Jarell Quansah, James Trafford and Jarrad Branthwaite.
Maddison was the first player to be cut from the squad on Wednesday night while Southgate has told the rest in the last 24 hours. England play their final friendly with Iceland at Wembley on Friday night when they can only name 26 players in the party.
Luke Shaw is in the squad despite not playing since February while Lewis Dunk also sat out training on Thursday while doing an individual programme but gets the nod for Germany.
Southgate has gone all out attack with three strikers, including Harry Kane, Ivan Toney and Ollie Watkins.
